Black People in Canada Less likely to Fill Medication Prescriptions Due to Cost

Arranged an interview for Nicole Ireland at Canadian Press with Dr. Mojola Omole of the Black Physicians' Association of Ontario, to discuss the results of a Canadian Medical Association Journal study. Dr. Omole, who sees a large number of racialized patients as a breast surgical oncologist at Scarborough Health Network, said, “If people have to pick between their medication and feeding their families, they’re going to pick feeding their families.”
